Thermalspray and surface treatments

Spraying metal powders onto a surface or piece to improve the surface properties, is one of the main uses of powder metallurgy. Hardening, resistance to corrosion, temperature or wear are the most common characteristics that are improved by these processes.

At Metallied, we can atomise, by water or gas, iron, cobalt or nickel based alloys, depending on the properties to be improved. We are also willing to research into new alloys to solve problems specific to Thermal Spray.
