Uses and Benefits

Among the numerous uses that may be made of this product, we can highlight the following:

• Structural parts: mainly used in axes, rods, pins and other automobile parts.
• Electrical and magnetic applications: contacts, filaments, bulbs and magnets.
• MIM: this application is on the rise and is definitely one for the future, although it uses very expensive materials. It is particularly suitable for medical material.
• Friction material: parts made using these materials have to be good energy absorbers, so they are ideal for use in brakes and clutches for motor vehicles.
• Filters and porous parts: this type of part represents a substantial improvement in the level of resistance to corrosion and to heat. They are perfectly suitable for use in car filters, battery electrodes, bearings, etc.
• Semi-worked products: parts worked in this way and then forged later have very good mechanical properties and are ideal for automobile connecting rods.
